Harvest Festival in the Lungau
A region celebrates
Welcome to the towns of Göriach, Lessach, Mariapfarr, Mauterndorf, Muhr, Ramingstein, St. Andrä, St. Margarethen, St. Michael, Tamsweg, Thomatal, Tweng, Unternberg,Weisspriach and Zederhaus!
The Lungau is the south-easternmost part of the SalzburgerLand. Nestled between the peaks of the Radstädter Tauern and the gentle mountaintops of the Nockberge, this region is a true paradise for anyone who loves nature.
Join us as we celebrate Harvest Festival in the Lungau, perhaps during a hike to a mountain tarn, a Samson parade, a mountain mass, hill festivals, parades of sheep returning from alpine pastures, farm tours, or culinary highlights such as "Lungauer Schöpsernes" (roast mutton) accompanied by "Lungauer Eachtling" (a special potato variety).
