On Thursday, thick clouds are likely to persist, and rain is still frequently expected until well into the morning. As the day progresses, there will be more and more dry spells, and from midday onwards it will remain largely dry. However, the cloud cover will persist; it will only start to clear more from the north-west in the late afternoon. There will then be some sunshine, particularly in the Flachgau region. Friday will start with some patches of cloud, but dry weather. However, there will be occasional sunshine, particularly in the Flachgau and Tennengau regions. During the day, cloud cover will increase in the mountains, and in the afternoon and evening there will be occasional rain showers in the Tauern and Lungau regions. Morning temperatures: 6 to 11 °C; maximum temperatures: 16 to 21 °C.

On Saturday, there will be local fog in the inner Alpine valleys, which will mostly clear during the course of the morning. Otherwise, the sun will often shine through the high clouds, whilst cumulus clouds in the mountains will remain harmless. Minimum temperatures: 5 to 10 °C; maximum temperatures: 18 to 22 °C.

Sunday will start off with fairly sunny weather. As the afternoon progresses, more high cloud will move in, but it should remain mostly dry. The wind will be mostly light, though moderate from the west in the Flachgau region. Morning temperatures: 6 to 11 °C; maximum temperatures: 20 to 23 °C.
