On Tuesday, thick clouds with snowfall will prevail, with sleet or rain also occurring below 500 metres around the provincial capital. The snow line will drop a little lower in the morning, and precipitation will increase slightly. There will be quite a bit of fresh snow, especially in the mountainous regions. In the afternoon, the snowfall should become somewhat weaker. Maximum temperatures: -1 to 2 °C.

On Wednesday, it will remain mostly cloudy with prolonged snowfall, especially in the northern Alps. There will be little precipitation in Lungau, where it may even clear up a little. The wind will be moderate to brisk (peaks of 40 to just under 50 km/h) from the north-west, otherwise light to moderate. Early values: -4 to 0 °C, maximum temperatures: -1 to 2 °C.

Thursday will start with thick clouds and the last of the light snow showers, which will ease off in the morning. In Lungau, it will remain dry and partly cloudy from the outset. During the day, the clouds will break up more and more and the sun will often come out. Early temperatures: -6 to -1 °C, highs: -3 to 2 °C. The north-westerly wind in Lungau will ease noticeably.

Frequent sunshine on Friday, but very frosty, especially in the morning. Lowest temperatures: -14 to -6 °C, partly around -18 degrees in the inner Alps. Highest temperatures: -5 to 2 °C.
