Monday often starts with thick clouds and rain showers; isolated thunderstorms are even possible in the Pinzgau. The Pongau and Lungau are most likely to remain dry for longer. In the northern Flachgau, a moderate to brisk westerly wind will briefly pick up in the morning (peaking at 40 to 50 km/h), but this will soon ease off again before midday. From midday onwards, it will often remain dry again, though some clouds will linger in the mountains. In the late afternoon and evening, the risk of thunderstorms will gradually increase again in the mountainous regions. Maximum daytime temperatures: 20 to 25 °C.

Tuesday will start with some lingering clouds and sunshine, but it should remain largely dry. Patches of morning fog in the Alpine valleys will clear quickly. It will remain largely dry, with only isolated showers possible in the mountains this afternoon. In the northern Flachgau, the wind will be moderate from the west (with gusts of 30 to 40 km/h); elsewhere, it will be light. Minimum temperatures: 8 to 16 °C; maximum temperatures: 20 to 24 °C.

On Wednesday, patches of cloud will pass through again, but there will often be sunny spells. From midday onwards, more cumulus clouds will form in the mountains, and the odd rain shower is possible in the Tauern and the Lungau. The wind will generally be light, blowing from the west. Morning temperatures: 8 to 14 °C; maximum temperatures: 21 to 25 °C.

Thursday will often bring sunny weather with occasional patches of cloud. Precipitation is highly unlikely. The wind will be moderate, blowing from the west to north-west, with gusts of just under 40 km/h in the Flachgau region. Minimum temperatures: 9 to 14 °C; maximum temperatures: 22 to 26 °C.
