On Tuesday, there will often be some high cloud cover, but the sun will also make an appearance from time to time. Cloud cover will generally be thicker in the Tauern and the Lungau. In the afternoon, there will be occasional showers here, with isolated thunderstorms possible towards the evening along the main Alpine ridge and in the Nockberge Mountains. Further north, it will remain dry. The wind will generally be light, blowing from the north to the east, though a moderate north-easterly wind will pick up during the day in northern Flachgau. Maximum temperatures: 15 to 20 °C.

On Wednesday, the day will start with some high cloud patches, but it will remain mostly dry. Significantly drier air will flow in from the north-east, so the sun will generally prevail in the north. Only in the Tauern and Lungau will there be more cloud, with the odd light shower possible here in the afternoon. The wind will be light to moderate, blowing from the north to the east, with gusts of up to 50 km/h in parts of northern Flachgau. Morning temperatures: 3 to 8 °C, maximum temperatures: 13 to 19 °C.

Thursday will bring very dry air to the mountainous regions as well, making for a sunny day. The sky will often be completely cloudless. The wind will still be quite brisk in the northern Flachgau, with gusts of just under 50 km/h; elsewhere, it will be light and breezy. Morning temperatures: -4 to 5 °C; maximum temperatures: 14 to 18 °C.

On Friday (a public holiday), high pressure will once again bring plenty of sunshine with little cloud cover. Winds in northern Flachgau will be moderate, with gusts of around 40 km/h. Morning temperatures: -2 to 5 °C; maximum temperatures: 18 to 22 °C.
