Today, the fog over the inner Alpine valleys and basins will clear up during the day, and then the sunshine will be mostly uninterrupted. The low stratus will linger longer in the north of the country, but in the afternoon the sun should also break through more often in the Flachgau region. In the Tauern region, there will be a slight foehn wind in the afternoon. High temperatures will range from -2 to +6 degrees C.

On Tuesday, strong southerly winds blowing in some parts of the Tauern valleys. Apart from local patches of fog and low stratus, the sun will shine at least intermittently, with extensive and partly dense high clouds passing through the higher layers during the course of the day. Low temperatures between -8 and 0 degrees C, highs will range from 1 to 8 degrees C.

On Wednesday, extensive and fairly dense clouds will pass through, with only occasional sunshine. There may also be some rain at times, especially in the Tauern region and in the Pinzgau region. Low temperatures between -4 and +2 degrees C, highs will range from 2 to 7 degrees C.

On Thursday, there will initially be patches of morning fog in some areas. Otherwise, there will be frequent sunshine, with cloudy spells in the south of the country. There will be a slight foehn wind along the Tauern mountains. Low temperatures between -3 and +2 degrees C, highs will range from 2 to 10 degrees C.
