Clouds will dominate in the Lungau and along the Tauern today, whilst the sun will soon break through in the Flachgau and Tennengau. It will remain dry there too. In the Tauern area and in Lungau, light rainshowers are possible during the day. The wind will be mostly light to moderate in the Alpine regions, but in northern Flachgau it will reach gusts of up to 50 km/h. Highs: 13 to 16 degrees, up to 18 degrees in northern Flachgau.

High pressure and very dry air will bring a sunny Thursday. The sky will often be completely cloudless. An easterly wind will still be quite brisk in the northern Flachgau region, with gusts of just under 50 km/h; elsewhere, the wind will generally be light. Lows: -2 to +3 degrees; highs: 12 to 18 degrees.

On Friday (a public holiday), high pressure will once again bring plenty of sunshine. The sky will be mostly clear to start with, though a few low cumulus clouds may form over the mountains in the afternoon. Winds in the northern Flachgau region will reach speeds of up to 40 km/h. Morning temperatures: -4 to +4 degrees; maximum temperatures: 17 to 23 degrees.

Saturday will also be sunny, with cumulus clouds over the mountains only occasionally blocking out the sun in the afternoon. The easterly wind in the north will gradually ease. Morning temperatures: -2 to 8 degrees; maximum temperatures: 21 to 27 degrees.
