On Thursday, it will remain partly sunny, particularly in the mountains, but clouds will thicken increasingly from the north-west. The first light rain showers are possible as early as late morning in the Flachgau and Tennengau regions. During the afternoon, a cold front will bring cooler conditions, a significant increase in westerly to north-westerly winds (peaking at 50 to 60 km/h in the Flachgau) and numerous rain showers. Even brief thunderstorms may occur locally. Maximum temperatures at midday will range between 15 and 19 °C.

Friday will start with some lingering cloud cover, with a few patches of fog in the Alpine valleys. These will mostly clear during the morning, often giving way to sunshine. During the afternoon, a few more high clouds will move in. The wind will be light, though in the Lungau region it will still be moderate at times, with gusts of around 40 km/h from the west to north-west. On Saturday, the influence of the high-pressure system will continue to increase; it will be very sunny during the day with only a few clouds. Local patches of morning mist will clear by mid-morning at the latest. Early morning temperatures: 0 to 6 °C; maximum temperatures: 18 to 23 °C.
