Wednesday will bring dense clouds with rain and snowfall behind the cold front that passed through at night. The snow line will drop to 600 to 800 metres above sea level. However, the first clearing and dry spells will soon be possible in Flachgau, and the precipitation will decrease more and more in the course of the morning. A little sunshine is possible during the day, but showers may form at times in the afternoon in the unstable cold air. The wind will blow moderately to briskly from the west to north-west, but will gradually weaken. Highs: 2 to 6 °C.

Thursday will often start sunny with residual clouds. It will remain dry, but as the day progresses, more and more high cloud fields will gather. From the evening hours, there will be some snowfall in Oberpinzgau, but the Hohe Tauern will briefly experience a föhn wind again. The wind will still blow moderately from the west in northern Flachgau in the morning, but will soon weaken. Early temperatures: -6 to 1 °C, highs: -1 to 4 °C.

On Friday, numerous dense clouds will follow another cold front in the morning, which will bring increasing west to north-westerly winds and snow showers down to low altitudes. Strong north-westerly winds (peaks around 70 km/h) set in in Lungau. By mid-morning, however, the snowfall will subside and the clouds will become increasingly lighter. Early temperatures: -4 to 0 °C, highs: -2 to 2 °C.

The uncertainties are somewhat greater on Saturday. From today's perspective, there will still be a few patches of cloud during the day, with a little snow at times. The afternoon will be mostly dry and partly sunny. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from the west to north-west. Early temperatures: -7 to 0 °C, highs: 0 to 5 °C.
