On Monday, there will often be some thicker high cloud fields, with the sun making only sporadic appearances. It will remain largely dry, with just a few drops of rain falling in the Tauern. The Saharan dust in the air may cause the light to be somewhat hazy in places. The wind will be light to moderate, blowing from the east to the south; in the classic Föhn regions of the Tauern, a brisk southerly wind will pick up. Gusts of 60 to 70 km/h are possible in places. Maximum daytime temperatures: 14 to 20 °C.

Tuesday will see mostly thick cloud cover throughout the day, with rain falling intermittently. There may be occasional dry spells, but the sun will hardly break through. The foehn has died down; during the day, there will be a light to moderate westerly to north-westerly wind. Morning temperatures: 4 to 10 °C; daytime highs: 9 to 14 °C.

On Wednesday, thick clouds will often linger, but it will remain mostly dry in the morning, apart from the odd light shower. The sun will make a bit more of an appearance during the day, but occasional light showers may develop in the mountains in the afternoon. The wind will be fairly light. Lowest temperatures: 3 to 9 °C, highest temperatures: 12 to 17 °C.

On Thursday, more and more patches of cloud will move in, with occasional light showers throughout the day. However, there will also be some sunshine in between. The Lungau region will remain mostly dry. The wind will be light to moderate, blowing from the north-west. Lowest temperatures: 2 to 7 °C, highest temperatures: 13 to 17 °C.
