Tuesday will start with a bit of rain, but this will soon ease off. In the mountains, the clouds will clear a little in the early morning. However, a cold front moving in from the west will bring thick clouds again during the course of the morning, and from midday onwards, rain showers will become increasingly widespread. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible in the mountainous regions this afternoon (low risk of hail, but localised heavy rain is possible). The wind will be light at first, but as the cold front moves in, a moderate to brisk westerly to north-westerly wind will pick up (peaking at 40 to 50 km/h). Maximum temperatures in the morning will range between 18 and 23 °C, after which it will cool down.

On Wednesday, the sun will barely break through as thick clouds will dominate the sky. There will be frequent showers, becoming quite heavy in many areas by the afternoon. There may also be thunder and lightning in the Lungau region and along the main Alpine ridge. The wind will be mostly light, but in the afternoon and evening a moderate westerly to north-westerly wind will pick up, with gusts of around 50 km/h in the Lungau region. Morning temperatures: 8 to 12 °C, maximum temperatures: 12 to 16 °C.

Thursday will bring changeable and cool weather, with a few showers from midday onwards and thick cloud. There will often be a moderate to brisk westerly to north-westerly wind. Morning temperatures: 6 to 11 °C; maximum temperatures: 14 to 19 °C.

On Friday, the weather will remain changeable, but the rain showers will become noticeably less frequent. In addition, we can expect a bit more sunshine. Morning temperatures: 5 to 10 °C; maximum temperatures: 15 to 20 °C.
