Tuesday will often start with some dense cloud fields, with somewhat thinner cloud cover in the Tauern region and in Lungau. There will be a few light rain showers, especially in Flachgau and Tennengau, otherwise it will remain dry for the time being. Occasional sunny spells in the morning, especially in the inner Alps. Rain showers will become more frequent from midday. Short thunderstorms are not completely out of the question, especially in the north, but are not very likely. The wind will be mostly weak to moderate from north-westerly directions. Maximum daily temperatures: 9 to 14 °C.

It will continue to be unsettled on Wednesday, with numerous clouds and occasional rain showers prevailing. These will gradually become more frequent, especially from midday. The snow line will be around 1400 metres. Some sunshine is possible at times, most likely in Lungau. Moderate north-westerly winds locally (peaks around 40 km/h). Early temperatures: 0 to 6 °C, highs: 8 to 12 °C.

On Thursday, dense clouds with occasional rain showers will follow from the start, with the snow line fluctuating between 1000 and 1200 metres. In Lungau it will remain dry and cloudy, with a brisk north-westerly wind blowing in places. From the afternoon hours, the showers will gradually subside and it may clear up a little. Early temperatures: 1 to 6 °C, highs: 9 to 13 °C.

High pressure will prevail for a short time on Friday, with mostly sunshine and few clouds. However, localised patches of fog are to be expected into the morning, especially in the inner Alpine valleys. Early temperatures: -3 to 3 °C, highs: 12 to 16 °C.
