Today, the clouds are already quite thick in places, and the first showers from overnight are still possible in the west and north. The sun will hardly make an appearance this morning, but it will remain mostly dry. From midday at the latest, however, there will be widespread rain showers and, in the inner Alps, isolated thunderstorms. The afternoon will then be overcast, with drier weather only setting in towards the evening. The wind will veer from southerly to north-westerly during the day and will be brisk at times. Temperatures will reach 13 to 20 degrees around midday, before cooling off in the afternoon.

On Thursday, thick clouds will mostly block out the sun. There will be some sunny spells at times in the northern parts of the country, whilst further south it is likely to remain rather overcast throughout the day. Isolated rain showers are then possible, particularly in the Lungau and along the Tauern; elsewhere, it will remain dry across most of the country. Lowest temperatures: 8 to 12 degrees; highest temperatures: 13 to 20 degrees.

On Friday, the weather will be unsettled and changeable. Clouds will be mostly thick, particularly in the morning, and there may be occasional localised showers. In the afternoon, the clouds will increasingly break up, giving way to sunshine. Whilst local showers cannot be ruled out, it will mostly remain dry in the afternoon. Lowest temperatures: 9 to 12 degrees; highest temperatures: 15 to 19 degrees.

On Saturday, the weather will be mostly quite pleasant and sunny. Although a few cumulus clouds will form as the day progresses, it will often remain dry. A brisk north-westerly wind will be blowing in the Lungau. Lowest temperatures: 5 to 11 degrees; highest temperatures: 18 to 23 degrees.
