On Thursday (Ascension Day), thick clouds and rain will prevail from the start, with snow falling above 1,400 to 1,600 metres. Sunny spells will be rare and are most likely during the day in the northern Flachgau region. In the afternoon, rain will be heavier, particularly in the mountainous regions. The wind will generally be light. Maximum temperatures: 7 to 13 °C.

On Friday, there will still be frequent rain in the early hours, but it will soon move off towards the north-east. In the morning and around midday, it will be mostly dry and often heavily overcast, though the sun may peek through here and there. In the afternoon, rain showers will spread across the mountains again; the Flachgau region is most likely to remain dry for longer. Morning temperatures: 2 to 8 °C, maximum temperatures: 10 to 15 °C.

On Saturday, the weather will be very changeable with thick clouds and rain, which will be somewhat heavier, particularly along the northern side of the Alps. The snow line will be around 1,300 or 1,400 metres. There will also be a moderate to brisk westerly to north-westerly wind at times. Morning temperatures: 2 to 8 °C; maximum temperatures: 7 to 12 °C.
