The voyage of discovery can begin.

From the middle of April, you will find an overview of the situation of all participating 2021 SL Card attractions here. You can currently also still find the overview map from 2020 (which will differ in a few attractions from the current season). From the end of April 2021, you can take a look at the new brochure for the 2021/22 seasons, which shows all the detailed information about the excursion destinations.

 

TIP: Either benefit from a 24-hour Salzburg Card OR enjoy a free trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road!  The choice is yours!

    Length: 2,14 km Elevation gain: approx. 302 Hm Start: Hochalmbahn middle station - The ride up on the Rauriser Hochalmbahn Finish: Hochalmhütte Estimated time: approx. 1 hour The first stage takes you through a series of switchbacks and forest sections. At kilometer 2.95, you will have reached the lift mid-station and the Heimalm. Until this point, there are numerous opportunities to leave the trail and ski back down the regular piste. Heimalm - Hochalm variant: From the Heimalm hut, your ascent takes you along the forest's edge and past the funslope. From there, it is just a few more meters gain until you reach the Hochalm hut.

    Length: 4,23 km Elevation gain: approx. 743 hm Start: Kreuzboden Valley Station Finish: Waldalmhütte Estimated time: 2 1/2 hours The ascent is moderately difficult and does demand good ski-touring technique. The route leads initially across a meadow, before taking you on a climb through dense forest. After about 1.8 km you will come to the sledding hill, which you will need to cross - do so with caution! At kilometer 2, you will come to the first crossing of a ski piste. And after another 20 vertical meters, you will have reached the Kreuzboden hut. Then take route 4 to Waldalm.

    The Eldorado for fly fishing is the Zauchensee. The Zauchensee is nestled 10 km from Altenmarkt at the foot of the mountains of the holiday village Zauchensee. This oasis of idyll at 1,350 meters is privately owned by the Schneider family from Altenmarkt. In Zauchensee there is a large inventory of char, rainbow and brown trout. With a little luck and a mullet comes to fishing. The same ingredients, the small, natural Zauchbach, an overflow of Zauchensee (2.5 km long, 2 to 3 m wide). Due to its low gradient from the 1 to 3% it is to fish well for less experienced fly fisherman.
