The voyage of discovery can begin.

From the middle of April, you will find an overview of the situation of all participating 2021 SL Card attractions here. You can currently also still find the overview map from 2020 (which will differ in a few attractions from the current season). From the end of April 2021, you can take a look at the new brochure for the 2021/22 seasons, which shows all the detailed information about the excursion destinations.

 

TIP: Either benefit from a 24-hour Salzburg Card OR enjoy a free trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road!  The choice is yours!

    The position of the Pinzgauer Hütte is in the middle of the Schmittenhöhe skiing and hiking region. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the region Pinzgau and the Kitzsteinhorn seems to be jut within you grasp! The hut offers a cosy lounge or you can enjoy alpine delicacies on the big terrace. In summer you reach the hut only in approx. 45 min from the Schmittenhöhe mountain station. In winter an approx. 800 m long skiing path from the Kapellenbahn valley station will take you there. Back you can drive via a motor-driven sledge. That´s a real highlight. Also overnight stays are possible. The Pinzgauer Hütte lodge offers bright and friendly rooms for up to 46 people. The showers and toilets are located in the corridor.

From the sun terrace you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Hohe Tauern and the highest mountain in Austria, the Großglockner. Let yourself be pampered with this unique view by the host of the hut. How to get there in summer: The fastest of these is with the Schmittenbahn mountain lift, located in the middle of Zell am See, to approximately 2000 metres above sea level, with a subsequent approximately 45-minute hike to our lodge. In good weather and in good visibility, our lodge can already be seen from the mountain station. However, you can also reach us from Piesendorf via the hiking path 1A in approx. 2.5 h.
