The voyage of discovery can begin.

From the middle of April, you will find an overview of the situation of all participating 2021 SL Card attractions here. You can currently also still find the overview map from 2020 (which will differ in a few attractions from the current season). From the end of April 2021, you can take a look at the new brochure for the 2021/22 seasons, which shows all the detailed information about the excursion destinations.

 

TIP: Either benefit from a 24-hour Salzburg Card OR enjoy a free trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road!  The choice is yours!

    Salzburg Summit Game Listen to what the mountains have to say! With the "Salzburg Summit Game", hiking becomes a playful experience of nature. In each of the seven holiday resorts in the Salzburger Sportwelt region, you have to climb a beautiful summit and literally hike its history. The summit box with tour book, drinking cup with carbiner handle and hiking map is available at the tourist office. For each stamp collected on the peaks, you will receive a “collectible summit”. You climb the peaks in any order and there is no time limit for that either. And in the end a surprise is waiting for you!

    The hut is small and cosy and offers space for eating and drinking in a homey little parlour or on our large sun terrace. You can also stay overnight in two communal bunks for approx. 20 persons. (please on request!) The starting point to the Salzburger Hütte is in the Kaprun valley. Opposite the hotel first mountain, about 500 m after the Klammsee follow the path no. 711 aproximately  2,5 to 3 hours or ascent with the cable cars  until Station Langwied, then a 20-minute descent to the hut. Children find a nice place with a fountain and water wheel in front of the hut.

    When the mountain calls... up to the Salzburger Hütte - the most rustic hut at 1,879 m above sea level is located in the middle of a wonderful alpine landscape on the Kitzsteinhorn! The Salzburger Hütte is located just below the "Langwiedboden" station of the Kaprun glacier cable cars, on the so-called Salzburger Boden and is a popular rest stop for mountaineers, hikers and families. Here at the only alpine hut on the Kitzsteinhorn, a picturesque mountain panorama awaits you with hearty dishes and probably the best Kaiserschmarrn. Here it says: Pure hut fun! So you can reach the hut: By cable car: Comfortable ascent with the Gletscherjet 1 or the Panorama cable car or also from Kaprun with the MK Maiskogel cable car and the 3K K-ONNECTION to the Langwied station, then a 20-minute descent to the hut on foot.
