From the middle of April, you will find an overview of the situation of all participating 2021 SL Card attractions here. You can currently also still find the overview map from 2020 (which will differ in a few attractions from the current season). From the end of April 2021, you can take a look at the new brochure for the 2021/22 seasons, which shows all the detailed information about the excursion destinations.

 

TIP: Either benefit from a 24-hour Salzburg Card OR enjoy a free trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road!  The choice is yours!

    Unterbergalm 1570m - Piesendorf

    A picturesque alpine pasture with home made cheese specialities! The Unterbergalm presents itself as a traditional hut on a steep slope. While you enjoy home made products from the own farm on the terrace, you are enchanted by the magnificent views of the Dietersbach valley, the Große (Hohe) Arche (2,453 m) and the Kitzbühel Alps/Pinzgau Grasberge. So you can reach the hut: Comfortably by cable car: Ascent with the MK Maiskogelbahn possible. From the top station the alpine pasture can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot via the flat forest road (suitable for prams). By mountain bike: From Kaprun follow the mountain bike path no. 11G to the Unterbergalm. As a hike: Starting from Hummersdorf (Piesendorf) on trail no. 14A or 14B to the Unterbergalm.

    The "Unterberghaus" snack bar is the starting point for the guided tours and, after visiting the mine, invites you to linger in a cozy ambience and delicious local cuisine. You can also see some very interesting gravel maps of the Schwarzenberg mountain district! Of course there are also souvenirs, which will surely remind you of the visit of our showmaker. Since the 20th anniversary of the show-mine in 2009, there is a genuine pile-work in the immediate vicinity of the Knappenstube, which can be used to demonstrate how difficult it was for the miners to extract the ore from the excavated rock. In the winter it is not possible to visit the Schaubergwerk, but it is worth a walk or a romantic sleigh ride to the Knappenstube! From the parking lot "Forsthofalm" it is about 2.5 km forest road to the Unterberghaus (with a pleasant slope).
