The voyage of discovery can begin.

From the middle of April, you will find an overview of the situation of all participating 2021 SL Card attractions here. You can currently also still find the overview map from 2020 (which will differ in a few attractions from the current season). From the end of April 2021, you can take a look at the new brochure for the 2021/22 seasons, which shows all the detailed information about the excursion destinations.

 

TIP: Either benefit from a 24-hour Salzburg Card OR enjoy a free trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road!  The choice is yours!

    Long, but varied hike to a farm above the lake with a beautiful view of St. Wolfgang. Behind the church of St. Konrad, a forest path leads along the Zinkenbach, over the Zinkenbachsteg and further up through the underpass to the other side of the main road. Over the parking lot and the school street along to the Aboretum. From there along the Zinkenbachklamm until the trail branches left to the farm Vitz am Berg. At the farm down the road, cross the main road and follow to the boat landing Gschwendt this. Now it's on the railway embankment to the Zinkenbachsteg and on the same way back to the church. You will find the numbering in the winter hiking trails and trails brochure.

    The Vorderkaserklamm is a true discovery tour. At the end of the Ice Age, the melt water of the glaciers created a gorge cut into the rock. Nature came up with something particularly impressive: scientists date the birth of the Vorderkaserklamm gorge to around 12 - 14,000 years ago. Masses of water ground their way inexorably deeper and deeper through the rock and gave rise to the natural monument of the Vorderkaserklamm. The torrential mountain river cuts 5 - 6 mm of rock out of the rock every year. You start with a 2.5-kilometre hike through the partly shady Schiedergraben to the entrance of the Vorderkaserklamm. To be quite honest, you could also drive to the snack station by car, but it is worth it to cover the wonderful hiking route on foot.     A landscape with a past The Weidmoos is an old area of peat bog about 20 km north of the city of Salzburg, close to the boundary between Salzburg and Upper Austria in the communes of Lamprechtshausen and St. Georgen. It was originally part of an extensive bog area, but peat cutting activities have turned it into an industrial landscape. The end of peat cutting in the year 2000, however, signalled the emergence of a fascinating new and completely different habitat. The area has become a haven for many species of birds which are now rare in Europe.
