But it does not always have to be the city of Mozart. Why not use the daytime to hike over green alpine pastures or refresh yourself in the cool waters and enjoy one of the varied cultural offers in the evening? Or best both – this is possible in SalzburgerLand!
Festival at GOLLING Castle
For years the small, nice festival in the castle of the same name in Golling has been a regular fixture. What began as a small event became an art and music festival of the highest level under the patronage of Hermann Döllerer. Numerous well-known ensembles, singers and actors, including Angelika Kirchschlager and Otto Schenk, were signed for the Gollinger Festspiele. The premises of the historic castle provide the perfect setting for readings, concerts and more.
