Festival at GOLLING Castle
For years the small, nice festival in the castle of the same name in Golling has been a regular fixture. What began as a small event became an art and music festival of the highest level under the patronage of Hermann Döllerer. Numerous well-known ensembles, singers and actors, including Angelika Kirchschlager and Otto Schenk, were signed for the Gollinger Festspiele. The premises of the historic castle provide the perfect setting for readings, concerts and more.

DIABELLI SOMMER MATTSEE
Pure summer feeling is guaranteed every year by the music festival in the Salzburger Seenland lake area which was named after the composer Anton Diabelli who was born in Mattsee. Since summer 2000, international artists meet up at Mattsee lake. The hallmark of this established festival is the exciting mix of different music styles – from exquisite classical music with an occasional modern touch, jazz and swing to high-quality folk music. The Mattseer Diabelli Sommer offers a diversified, exciting programme every year.

TONSPUREN AM ASITZ
The Tonspuren am Asitz music festival offers a completely different setting. It takes place high up at Asitz mountain in Leogang. The special thing about this is that you can not only to listen to the (folk) musical sound, but are also able to experiment with music yourself at the music workshop. From the singing and yodelling workshop to testing a variety of instruments – during the Tonspuren am Asitz days in June, July and August, colourful sounds echo across the alpine pastures. The event is also enriched with captivating and passionate performances by artists from all over the world.

JAZZFESTIVAL SAALFELDEN
More or less just around the corner, jazz is in charge on the last weekend in August. The Jazzfestival Saalfelden has long since gained its place in the European jazz calendar since its establishment in 1979. On a total of seven stages located in the valley and also at the surrounding mountain huts, about 30 concerts – from experimental to contemporary – are presented at its best. The young spectators can enjoy their own children’s concert at Kunsthaus Nexus. And also at Ensiedelei am Palfen, one of the most unusual locations in the region, you can enjoy musical sounds.

SOMMER.FRISCHE.KUNST GASTEIN
The art and culture festival sommer.frische.kunst in Bad Gastein is more than just a music festival. The “Monte Carlo of the Alps” has always attracted celebrities from all over the world. It is therefore no wonder that renowned artists such as Liza Minelli and Friedrich Liechtenstein are attracted by the special flair that Bad Gastein offers.
Classical music resounds at exciting locations, such as the Preimskirche am Wasserfall church or Weitmoser Schlössl castle. The „Schubert in Gastein“ classical music festival, which takes place as part of the “Sommer.frische.kunst Gastein”, is dedicated to works by the Austrian composer who, as the name suggests, spent a part of his summer in 1825 in Bad Gastein.
