Angelique is a real sports fan. Running, yoga, swimming, hiking, cycling, skiing – she tries out everything that is fun. The blogger takes her readers on “Angeliquelini” along regularly on her running tours, her travels and in the kitchen. Besides fitness and lifestyle topics, Angie shares healthy and vegan recipes with her readership. Her great love, however, applies to nature and movement outside in the fresh air. Here the motto is – the greener the better.
Pure Nature in Saalfelden Leogang
In summer, Angie and her friend Sascha made a voyage of discovery to Saalfelden Leogang. There was a lot to be experienced for the two action fans between the Stone and Grass Mountains. At the beginning of the journey, Angie and her friend were greeted with lots of rain. Where some people would cancel their planned hiking tour, this blogger started hers in the rain full of drive towards the mountain. She breathed deeply and with a happy smile, let the rain water pour over her face. When you look at Angie, you can feel her deep connection to nature.
Nature gives me quite a lot. When I go out, I can breathe, I can feel everything around me much more. The flowers, the meadows, the green, the animals that are all around.
Mystic Fairytale Forest
On the first hike in Saalfelden Leogang, Angie went up to the Tödlingalm in Leogang early in the morning. The first ascent lead through a forest which was particularly mystical in the rain and fog. In the protection of the trees, Angie perceived every drop and enjoyed the special atmosphere:
The hike was quite gorgeous. I felt like I was in a magical fairytale forest. The trails there, the flowers, the sounds in the forest – one could totally experience everything beautifully.
Long live sport
At the finish up at 1,400 metres, their tired legs were raised, and a small refreshment was taken. Movement out in the fresh air makes you hungry. After a short break, the blogger went back down towards the valley. Having arrived back down, Angie and her friend cycled on E-Mountain Bikes through the region. Always on the move, always on the go – just as the blogger likes it.
This much action and stamina all at once are no problem for Angie. Triathlons and running are regularly on her training plan – and the blogger has also already mastered an Ironman. For sports enthusiasts like Angie, Saalfelden Leogang offers not only suitable hotels, such as the Bio-Hotel Rupertus, in which she stayed, but also many facilities to let off steam and do sport. For example, the Bike Park in Leogang, the Flying Fox XXL, lots of trail running routes and beautiful mountain peaks to climb.
