Organic Hay Region Salzburg Lake District

240 organic farmers, members of the umbrella organisation BIO AUSTRIA, in 27 towns belong to the Organic Hay Region Trumer Lake District. The Organic Hay Region is one of the last and largest contiguous areas in Europe where hay farming, one of the oldest agricultural cultures, is still operating. 25 million litres of organic hay milk are produced here without any silage, and processed in six regional dairies. Herbal Life – Christmas with Smoke & Tradition

It has long been a tradition to clean the air in house and home during the cold seasons with fragrant smudge sticks. At the winter solstice on 21st December, the rebirth of light is celebrated. To honour the returning daylight we light a hand-bound smudge stick which was bound during the summer solstice. Numerous Herb Experts share their wisdom about smudging in Workshops and Events.
