Today, extensive patches of clouds will drift across the region; the best chance of longer sunny spells is in the Flachgau and Tennengau regions. Cloud cover will continue to thicken as the day progresses, with a few rain showers passing through the Tauern region and the Lungau in the afternoon and evening. High will range from 17 to 22 degrees C.

On Saturday, local patches of morningfog in inner-alpine valleys and basins will quickly clear, with mainly sunny weather prevailing across the country. Passing wispy clouds in the afternoon will cause little disruption, and the cumulus clouds over the mountains will also remain harmless. Low temperatures between 7 and 12 degrees C, highs will range from 19 to 24 degrees C.

On Sunday, patches of morning fog will clear in the early morning. The sun will often shine through passing wispy clouds. From late afternoon onwards, the clouds will thicken from the north, with rain showers not expected until during the night leading into Monday. A light to moderate westerly wind will blow in the Flachgau. Low temperatures between 5 and 12 degrees C, highs will range from 21 to 25 degrees C.

On Monday, fairly thick cloud cover will persist in many places to begin with, and rain showers are still possible in the morning, particularly in the mountainous regions. As the day progresses, the weather will improve, with the sun breaking through more and more frequently in the afternoon. There will be a moderate to brisk westerly to north-westerly wind, with gusts reaching 40 to 50 km/h in the Lungau region. Low temperatures between 7 and 14 degrees C, highs will range from 17 to 20 degrees C.
