On Tuesday, the day will start with thick cloud and some rain, which will gradually ease off as the morning progresses. The snow line will initially be between 900 and 1,300 metres above sea level and will rise slightly during the day. From midday, the sun will make occasional appearances. In slightly unstable conditions, there will still be occasional rain showers in the afternoon. The wind will often be moderate, blowing from the west to north-west; in the northern Flachgau and in the Lungau, wind gusts of just under 50 km/h are expected in the second half of the day. Wednesday will start with a few patches of fog, particularly in the inner Alpine valleys. However, the sun will often make an appearance amidst occasional high clouds and cumulus clouds on the mountain slopes. In the afternoon, cloud cover will increase slightly, but it will remain largely dry. The wind will be light to moderate, blowing from the west. Thursday (Ascension Day) will start with thick cloud cover and very little sunshine; there may even be occasional rain. As the day progresses, the rain will become more widespread, with the wind generally remaining fairly light. Morning temperatures: 3 to 9 degrees, maximum temperatures: Morning temperatures will range from -1 to 7 °C, with maximum temperatures between 9 and 14 °C.

The forecast is already rather uncertain on Friday, but as things stand today, it will remain mostly dry in the morning. A few more showers are expected to develop during the afternoon. Morning temperatures: 1 to 8 °C; maximum temperatures: 9 to 15 °C.
