On Monday, dense clouds will predominate, from which it will rain and snow at times. The snow line will be around 600 metres. Most of the fresh snow will fall in the north-facing slopes, where the snowfall will be heavy in the afternoon and evening. There will be longer dry spells in Lungau. Brisk winds from the west to north-west, peaking at around 50 km/h in Flachgau and Lungau. Early temperatures will be between -7 and +1 degrees C, highs will reach -2 to +3 degrees C.

On Tuesday (Christmas Eve), the sky will be very cloudy and it will snow at times, mainly in the morning. The afternoon will bring longer dry spells, with brief clearings possible. Brisk to strong winds from the west to north-west, peaking at around 60 km/h in Lungau. Early temperatures will be between -4 and +1 degrees C, with highs reaching -2 to +3 degrees C.
