Today, many valleys are covered by fog or low stratus, which will clear slowly. High and medium-altitude cloud fields will also pass overhead, which may be quite dense at times. However, there will also be longer sunny spells, especially in the afternoon. Weather will remain dry. High temperatures will range from 2 to 10 degrees C.

On Thursday, after the dissipation of local fog patches, the sun will shine frequently at first, with only harmless thin clouds passing through. There will be light south foehn in the Tauern region. In the afternoon, the clouds will thicken from the west and it will start to rain in the evening. Low temperatures between -7 and +4 degrees C, highs will range from 3 to 11 degrees C.

On Friday, dense clouds will initially predominate, with occasional snowfall. Below 500 metres there will also be sleet or rain. As the day progresses, the showers will become less frequent and the clouds will break up locally. There will be brisk to strong winds from the west to north-west, peaking at around 60 km/h in the Lungau region. Low temperatures between -2 and +4 degrees C, highs will range from 1 to 5 degrees C.

On Saturday, clouds will soon clear and temporarily make way for fairly sunny conditions. In the afternoon, denser clouds will move through again, with a few raindrops in places. Low temperatures between -8 and 0 degrees C, highs will range from -3 to +6 degrees C.
